But after a hot shower and a cry to my parents on the phone, I feel much better. And I've heard from numerous reputable sources that the first week in Japan is shit and then they never want to leave.
I think a few pictures will suffice. Apologies again for the lack of spectacular shots - some were taken from inside a moving taxi shuttle and it has been a very wet cold rainy day.
Goodbye sun.
Fu bear is happy to see the sun again.

ReplyDeleteHehe is that a wheelchair vending machine? I guess it'll come in handy if you leave your wheelchair at home. They sure think of everything
ReplyDeleteHey Chica,
ReplyDeleteI can tell you that I have never gotten somewhere the first day of a trip and not cried from exhaustion/confusion/homesickness.
You're a champ and it's going to be strange and hard for a while, but it will never stop being amazing and wonderfully fun.
Breathe your way through it.
xo

You shouldn't cry at all...darling I cried for 2 weeks when I came to Australia but then look at me now!!! you'll be fine after a good sleep and some walk around! look, I couldn't understand when the teacher said "assignment" during the first week of my "Australian Education"..hahaha..don't worry you'll talk as a Japanese parrot in a month. Love you. Eat well. Maman Nani
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! It feels so good to hear from you at such a time. Maman, I especially understand how you've felt in Australia and I have so much more sympathy for you now (not that I didn't before) ... But all of you ... thankyou .... I'll reward your kind words with lots of beautiful photos
