I've listened to this podcast for two years, ever since I finished the damn HSC and decided I wanted to study Japanese. It started with a guy called Alex who's lived in Japan for years and years and makes podcasts/videos on aspects of Japanese language – phrases that are actually useful - and ‘Fun Friday’ where he & his friends talk about life on Japan. The site has been revamped lately – the members’ blogs and the forums are particularly helpful, as you can ask questions of other (probably more experienced) Japanese learners who are always wiling to put in their 2oo ¥
